Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge
Rwanda's first community-owned lodge, on the park boundary of the mountain-gorilla forests.
An eight-cottage lodge set on the edge of Volcanoes National Park, and Rwanda's first community-owned lodge — rentals fund the surrounding SACOLA communities. Taken whole, it gives a smaller leadership group a base for mountain-gorilla trekking among the Virunga volcanoes.
