The Wine Blending Competition
In a working cellar, a winemaker teaches the art of the blend — varietal character, structure, balance — then teams compose their own vintage from barrel components, design and name the label, and pitch it to a judging panel. Winners' blend gets bottled for the group.
Why It Bonds
Blending and branding a wine folds palate, creativity, and salesmanship into one task, so every personality type finds a role; naming the bottle together makes the abstract idea of teamwork tangible.
Running at Scale
Blending stations of 6–8 each get barrel-component samples and beakers; scale with more stations and cellar-hosts, judged in flights with a final pour-off and label reveal.
