The Ryder Cup Matchplay
Two captained teams in matching colors battle across foursomes, fourballs, and singles for a traveling cup. A points board, captain's picks, and an opening ceremony borrow the whole Ryder Cup theater and hand it to your company for a day.
Why It Bonds
Splitting the group into two rival houses turns individual scores into team points, so a rookie's halved hole matters as much as the low handicapper's win — you're pulling for each other, not counting your own strokes.
Running at Scale
Runs as team-vs-team sessions (foursomes then fourballs then singles); scale by adding matches per session and a second nine, or stage concurrent brackets that feed one master points board.
