Why It Bonds
Mixed foursomes seed strangers from different teams onto the same card, so the shy analyst and the regional VP are suddenly partners reading the same putt — the leaderboard does the networking for you.
Running at Scale
Shotgun start assigns four players to each of 18 holes (72 golfers a wave); larger fields run AM/PM waves or a second course, capping cleanly at 288 across two shotguns.
